Delhi University is done with the first cutoff admissions. The second cutoff is likely to release on 17 October. The admission process for the second cutoff will start on 19 October. DU Dean Admission Branch Prof. Shobha Bagai said that the entire team for admission in the first cutoff and the people associated with admission in colleges has worked day and night. The first cutoff fees will be deposited by 16 October. On October 17, they expect that the second cutoff will release, whose admission will be from October 19 to October 21. By October 23, students will be able to pay the fees.
Demand For Extension Of Admission Process From DU
The Delhi Teachers Association, the teacher organization of the Aam Aadmi Party, has demanded from DU Vice-Chancellor Professor Yogesh Kumar Tyagi to extend the date of the first cutoff admission process by two more days because of the problems faced by students in taking online admission.

In a letter written to the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Delhi, in-charge of Delhi Teachers Association, Hansraj Suman has said that on Monday, October 12, the first cutoff for taking admission in undergraduate courses was issued. On Monday, most of the students had filled the admission form on the first day, but they have not been messaged to verify the fees by Wednesday, approving and submitting fees to the students. Aspirants say they are under stress due to their form not being approved. Students are calling them that colleges are not informing them about acceptance or submission of forms.
Wednesday is the deadline for students who want to take admission in the first cutoff. But if the form is approved, they have been given time till October 16 for depositing the fees. He says that when the date for depositing fees has been given to students till 16 October, then they should be given two days (16 October) more so that students do not face any difficulty in getting admission.
