Teachers Award: Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said that the Delhi government will honor the teachers who have done good work during the Corona period with the Teachers award. He said that during Corona, teachers have played an important role. From giving duty in the Quarantine Center to distributing ration in schools, getting vaccinated, the teachers have done a good job in enforcement.

Not only this, but they also continued the online classes amidst all the challenges. During the migration of people, the teachers took responsibility and made the children stay in Delhi, recharged the mobiles of the children by paying themselves for the online classes. During this, the teachers proved that Guru has to be placed ahead of anything.

He said the Teachers Award this year will also be unique. Earlier it used to be on academic performance, in 2016 we changed it to grand function. Now 103 has been increased to 122 awards. Earlier, only teachers with 15 years of experience used to get the award, now it has been changed to 3 years.

He further said that now we have also opened this award for guest teachers, private school teachers. The Education Minister said that according to the strength of the schools, different categories have been made. This year two awards have been started in the name of Face of DEO.

Some are also doing remarkable work, which enhances the name of the Education Department. The Deputy Chief Minister said that now any number of teachers can apply from one school. If someone has worked during Corona, then it will be considered special. This time 1108 applications have come and 122 names have been selected.
