ICAI CA exam 2021: The Supreme Court (SC) on June 29 asked the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) to prepare a short note regarding the SOPs for the examination to be held on July 5. Along with this, a three-judge bench headed by Justice AM Khanwilkar has refused to postpone the examination. Now the final order on options like opt-out will be passed on Wednesday, June 30.

This is the best time to conduct the ICAI CA exam 2021:
During the hearing, senior advocate Ramji Srinivasan, appearing for ICAI, said that now is the most favorable time to conduct the examination. If any student will not be able to appear in the examination on 5th July due to COVID-19, then they will be allowed to take the examination later. Apart from this, an opt-out facility will be given to those students who are affected by COVID-19 in some way.

The top court has said that since the RT-PCR test is not full proof, there should be a Competent Medical Authority to examine every student. Along with this, ICAI will have to submit a clear statement of rules regarding the RTPCR test, examination hall, and SOP for corona-infected students.
ICAI CA JULY EXAM: DETAILS REGARDING OPT-OUT OPTION RELEASED
Moreover, during the hearing on Monday, the Supreme Court had said that the ICAI CA exam 2021 cannot be “postponed”. Because this is the right time for the exam. Right now, there has been a significant decline in the cases of corona infection across the country. ICAI, in a note shared with the Supreme Court, has said that the CA examination is professional and cannot be compared with other board examinations including CBSE.
The final order will come on Wednesday:
Now a bench of Justice AM Khanwilkar, Justice Dinesh Maheshwari, and Justice Aniruddha Bose will consider other issues related to this examination on Wednesday. ICAI has been asked to submit a note in this regard. The Supreme Court is likely to pass the final order on Wednesday.
