Delhi University has taken many steps towards realizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream of making the country top in quality research. Several important steps have been taken to promote research. Recently the Canada Center has been established at South Campus. Through the center, the exchange of students between the educational institutions of the two countries as well as joint research on arts, culture, social environment, and other aspects will be encouraged.
Agreements are being made with foreign institutions to promote research
DU Executive Vice-Chancellor Prof. PC Joshi said that the Canada Center has been opened in the South Campus library building. In addition, DU will enter into agreements with Canadian educational institutions. DU researchers can Canada, while Canadian researchers will be able to come here and do research. He said that between the two countries there is a lot of scope for research in other fields including arts, culture, social environment, politics, education, economy, climate change, sustainable development.
Agreements with educational institutions of about 30 countries
According to the Delhi University administration, agreements have been signed with educational institutions of about 30 countries. This includes countries like Australia, Austria, Colombia, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Nepal, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Slovakia, South Africa, USA, Vietnam, Taiwan, and United Kingdom, etc. Of these, the top ten educational institutions have been signed with Germany. Under the agreement, students are also exchanged for a mutually definite period.
