Delhi University has released the ninth cut-off list for students under the reserved category as part of a special admissions drive to fill vacant seats for merit-based undergraduate courses.

Colleges, meanwhile, are in a fix as they have very few seats left. While leaving these seats vacant is not an option, colleges can’t reduce cut-off as that can lead to over- admission. For details about variation in cut-offs, the candidates are advised to contact the respective colleges on August 7,” the university said in a statement. Students upset The university has also asked reserved category students to complete admission formalities before August 9.

However, several reserved category students who have already taken admission to DU colleges were not happy as the fresh cut-off does not apply to them. Many students who don’t get any college are waiting to hear from DU about how colleges will fill vacant seats. The university had said that it would issue guidelines to colleges on how to fill the remaining seats on August 4.Till now, no notifications has been issued.
