DU Admission 2021: The application process for admission to Undergraduate, Masters’s, MPhil-PhD courses in Delhi University (DU) is at its peak. In the 12th result of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), more than 70 thousand students have secured more than 95 percent marks, while in DU too, there are only 70 thousand graduate seats. In such a situation, this time the race for the admission process of graduation is expected to be tough as compared to other years.

In such a situation, a large number of students may have to be denied admission in the regular colleges of DU, for such students, the option of admission in the undergraduate course can become DU’s School of Open Learning.

6 UNDERGRADUATE COURSES IN 14 DEPARTMENTS

The School of Open Learning (SOL) affiliated with DU has a total of 14 departments including Hindi, English, Commerce, Economics, History, Mathematics, Department of Environmental Studies. Under these departments, 6 undergraduate courses are conducted. In which there are BCom, BCom Hons, BA Honors English, BA Program, BA Honors Political Science, BA Program Mathematics. Whereas at the master’s level, all these departments conduct MA Political Science, MCom, MA Sanskrit courses. Enrollment in these courses can be taken to enroll in SOL
The seat number is not limited, the application process is expected to start in September.

DU has about 70 thousand seats for undergraduate courses, but the number of seats in SOL is not fixed. All the eligible students apply for admission. SOL admits them.

At the same time, SOL also conducts a separate application process for admission. According to sources associated with SOL, in September, SOL is going to start the application process for admission in its courses. The date for which has not yet been decided.
