Reports of the NLAT 2020 Re-test paper leak has been coming in, furthering the controversy over the National Law Aptitude Test 2020.

The copy had leaked while the test was still going on. The copy has been verified by the appearing students as the one that they had been provided in the NLAT 2020 Re-test paper leak. The exam had taken place from 12:30 pm to 1:15 pm. Reportedly, the paper was doing the rounds on social media while the exam was still underway.

On this development, a response from the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore is still awaited.

A statement had been issued by the NLSIU that addressed the concerns surrounding the leak. The release stated that the test paper was made accessible to students only after they had logged in to the platform. It appears that after they logged in, the questions were copied by some students and the questions were circulated on some emails and messaging apps.

The statement also read that this under the NLAT proctoring guidelines, this is malpractice. But this has not affected the integrity of the examination since the questions had already been made available to the students.
