Delhi University’s St Stephens College has started the registration process for various certificate courses. The applications are open to students of the University of Delhi and the general public. St Stephen’s college is going to conduct the entire admission process online for admission to certificate courses for the year 2020.
St Stephens College is offering the following language courses:
Chinese and Japanese – Affiliated to Department of East Asian Studies, University of Delhi
Spanish, French, and German – Affiliated to Department of Germanic and Romance Studies, University of Delhi
Arabic, Persian, and Urdu – Affiliated to the concerned departments of University of Delhi
Students can take admission to only one course at a time. However, they can register for multiple language courses.

Admission Process for Admission to St Stephen’s college Language Courses
The St Stephens College will be administering the admission process to various language courses online. The forms are available on the college website of St Stephens College. Students willing to take admission to any of the above-mentioned language courses are required to pay a registration fee of Rs. 500/- at the time of submission of applications. Aspirants are further required to upload their photograph and signature in the application form.

St Stephens College Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have scored 55% marks or above in English in Class 12th. The college will give admission based on the composite marks obtained in +2 and the English language.

Duration of the St Stephens College Language Courses
The college is inviting applications for part-time courses. The classes for the above-mentioned part-time courses will begin from the first week of October. The courses will continue until the end of March / April 2021. The college will conduct the courses as per the University calendar.
Students taking admission to language courses will not be considered as regular students of the college.

Course Fee for Language Courses
The course fee for various language courses is varied. For Chinese and Japenese language, the course fee is Rs 17000/- whereas for Arabic and Persian the course fee is Rs 8000. Indian students taking admission to Sanskrit will be required to pay Rs 6000 as course fees while foreign students will be obliged to pay Rs 15000.
Candidates seeking admission to the above-mentioned courses can pay their fees online on the college portal using their registered ID and password. The students will also be required to submit the self-attested copies of their Class 12th mark sheet along with the application form.
