Table of Contents

Candidates who have represented the country in Olympics, World Championship, World Cup, Commonwealth Games and Asian Games, or belongs to A1 Category will get direct admission.

Delhi University will start its trial from 27 June. Each College will prepare a merit list on the basis of online applications received.  Only those who are present at the time of counseling and verification of certificates will be considered for admissions.

Only those applicants who have registered under Sports Quota and have uploaded their certificates will be eligible. Applicants have to carry a printed copy of the online graduate admission form at the time of trial and have to report at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time and should be dressed in proper sporting gear.

“We have more transparency this year. Applicants can attach their certificates to the form, which will automatically verify the documents and calculate the eligibility.” said by CS Dubey, Chairman Sports Department, DU. The university will ensure transparency by making video of each trial performance. He also added that before the beginning of admission process, students can report to grievance committee in case of any issues.

Candidates who are under A1 Category (Olympics, World Championship, World Cup, Commonwealth Games, and Asian Games) will get direct admission.

The trial marks are divided into three parts-

  • Specific Game Fitness

  • Fundamental Game Skills

  • Playing ability, set by the Sports Authority of India (SAI) and the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

The list of selected students will be uploaded on the DU Website as well as on college’s notice board for three days, so that applicant can report to the grievance committee in case.
