Due to the occurrence of COVID-19 in India, every sector is tremendously affected. The most common topics to discuss nowadays are GDP, economy, and the education sector. So Digital India Vision of the Government of India is a tool to solve the degraded conditions of the present scenario.

As per the details released by UNDP, India is ranked 129th out of 1️80 countries on the Human Development Index. All educational institutions are temporarily closed. Due to this, students are facing a lot of pressure in their admission, career goals, and employment opportunities.

NEW EDUCATION SYSTEM IS ORGANIZED
Students are facing a lot of problems because of their delayed education. The nation was under lockdown for three months due to coronavirus pandemic. The education sector utilized this time in organizing the new education system. This will lead the youth and citizens to work accordingly. This pandemic has taught and is currently teaching everyone to plan and deal with some specific situations. In view of all the prevailing situations, the objectives were taught while framing the new education policy last year.

Still, looking towards a positive side, it is a chance for students to get more efficient and productive by learning online or accessing online. Some employees are working from home and students are depending upon online education, this lockdown period has led everyone to rely upon digital platforms. Some employees are working from home. Students are learning through online lectures. Webinars are conducted through online mode. Some students are opting courses online. This means that everyone around us is involved in some work or the other through online means.

ONLINE LECTURES INSTEAD OF CLASSROOM EDUCATION
On the other hand, this pandemic has put some barriers on daily wages or contractual workers. The education system has been changed accordingly. New technologies are adopted by the education sector. Blackboard is now replaced with online lectures which itself is much satisfying for the teachers and students. Teachers can just record their sessions for a particular class and students can listen to their sessions whenever they wish to. Teachers would not have to deal with class pressure and students too can get the best teachers. Quality education would be provided to everyone. This is a great and unique experience for professionals to share their experiences while working at the office or practice.

VIRTUAL CLASSROOM DEVELOPS GOOD RELATION BETWEEN TEACHERS AND STUDENTS

Policymakers would change the teachers to students ratio, classroom size, and qualifications of professors. The geographical limits of schools and colleges would vanish soon. This online virtual classroom would build up a good relationship between teachers and students. Students can now be there at home and following all the norms and protocols of social distancing. The democratization of technology is an important issue in the present scenario. It includes internet connection, availability of laptops and other electronic gadgets, and many more. Technology-bused education is more transparent than classroom education as no student is the first bencher and last bencher here. Even though due to lock down all the educational institutions are temporarily closed, there are many decisions taken by the Government of India and the state government. Many decisions and initiatives are taken by MHRD and state government for the benefit of students.

SOME INITIATIVES TAKEN BY OTHER PLATFORMS

Many initiatives are taken by SWAYAM to provide online courses, e-PG Pathshala containing modules on social science, fine arts, and many more. Many initiatives are taken by Spoken Tutorial, Google Classroom, etc. More details can be seen on MHRD, AICTE, NCERT website. The Government of India, as well as State Government, are doing a lot of improvements in the IT sector. Some private companies are discussing on improving their products considering the limited bandwidth and social distancing by skilled assessments.

There are many advantages of online education which we can follow.
• Students will have the best teachers anywhere and anytime.
• There will be less impact of infrastructure on education.
• Parents teacher meeting would be location agnostic
• Students can pursue any course from any college or institution of his choice and can get a degree at home itself.

As everything as its own drawbacks, there are some changes that need to be adopted by policymakers as well as faculty members. They need to learn about new technology and keen to adopt new methods.
