DU SOL

New Delhi: The students of Delhi University’s School of Open Learning (SOL) are against open book examinations. Students are also saying that when exams will not be held for the students of the first and second year and results will be based on online assignments, then the University should return the money of the 3 lakh SOL students.
The Krantikari Yuva Sangathan of SOL said that it is unjust to keep the students’ money if they will be promoted to the next semester based on online assignments.

The open book exams of final year students of undergraduate and postgraduate courses are not acceptable to the students. This is because there are a greater number of students from the deprived sections in the SOL.
If these students do not have internet facilities and better technology, how will they be able to appear for exams?
