The exams of SOL (School of Open Learning) have been canceled by the Ministry of Human Resource and Development (MHRD). Another crucial exam has been canceled by the MHRD, after calling off the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Examination) exams. The exams of SOL were supposed to be held on July 17.
The SOL has come up with an idea to evaluate the students based on internal assessment. This decision taken by the SOL is unique to the open book exams being conducted for the regular students.
An average aggregate will be formed from the past performance of the students in four subjects. Another option will be provided to the students to appear in the next public exams.
