SOL EXAM: Due to the Corona epidemic, the students of the fourth semester (last semester of the second year) at Delhi University will be evaluated based on the assignment and promoted to the next semester.

The process for this has been started in regular colleges of DU. However, in the School of Open Learning, the process of evaluation based on assignment will be started from July 7. On what basis the students of the first year (second semester) will be promoted, it is not decided yet.

SOL OSD Dr. Uma Shankar Pandey said that the process of Assignment Based Evaluation (ABE) will be started from July 7. Through this only fourth semester, students will be promoted in the next semester.

Recently this process has also got the permission of the examination branch. The detailed schedule in this regard will be uploaded on the SOL website soon. Based on that, students will have to submit online assignments.

For the SOL exam, students are advised to check the official website of SOL regularly. Due to the Corona pandemic, DU is conducting Open Book Examinations (OBE) of the final year students only. Like last year, it has been decided to evaluate the students of the fourth semester through ABE only. No decision has been taken regarding whether to evaluate the second semester based on OBE or ABE.
