An FIR is filed against the health superintendent of Sir Ganga Ram Hospital for violating the rules and regulations of COVID-19.
The cases of coronavirus are at its peak nowadays. The nation was under lockdown for a few days still the cases of coronavirus are not under control. All the government hospitals are taking responsibility for treating COVID-19 patients with all the facilities available and by following all the rules and regulations for coronavirus treatment. Although there are a number of government hospitals in India, still, the cases are have been so much high that all the hospitals are fully occupied with COVID-19 patients.

SIR GANGA RAM HOSPITAL HAS BEEN PERMITTED BY THE GOVERNMENT TO TREAT COVID-19 PATIENTS
As the cases of coronavirus are increasing at a faster rate day by day, the government has given permission to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital of Delhi to treat COVID-19 patients. Ganga Ram Hospital is a private hospital. If a person is suffering from coronavirus, the foremost supervision given to that patient is to keep him or her isolated from other people. As it is an infectious disease spread by just staying in physical contact with COVID-19 patients, self-isolation is a must. That is why before treating that person, he or she is kept in the isolation ward so that this disease may not transfer to any other person. There are a number of cases of coronavirus in the nation. That is why private hospitals are now taking the responsibility of treating COVID-19 patients.

Ganga Ram hospital is now providing the facility to treat COVID-19 patients and is told by the government to reserve 80 percent bed for COVID-19 sufferers.

But, on June 5, at Rajendra Nagar Police Station, an FIR is lodged against the medical superintendent of the hospital for allegedly violating the rules and regulations of COVID-19. Now the hospital has reached High Court for quashing an FIR filed against the Health Superintendent. The petition of this case is listed for hearing before Justice C Hari Shankar. Advocate Rohit Aggarwal is representing the hospital and demanding from the court to quash the FIR boarded under section 188 of IPC and the proceedings initiated thereafter.

IT IS A COMPULSION FOR ALL LABS TO USE RT-PCR APP
Another order was put on the hospital against prohibiting RT/PCR sampling for COVID-19 contact cases with immediate effect. Sir Ganga Ram Hospital is a private hospital with 675 beds. The complainant is the senior officer of the Delhi Health Department. He has alleged the hospital for not using RT-PCR app while collecting COVID-19 samples. In order to observe COVID-19 patients, it is a compulsion for all labs to collect samples through RT-PCR app. The official said that the violation on part of the hospital was not adhering to the norms and protocols of COVID-19.
The final hearing is still left with the court. Till then, stay tuned.
