A show-cause notice has been issued to Dr. Gopal Lal Meena, an assistant professor working in the Hindi department of Swami Shraddhanand College, affiliated with Delhi University (DU). It has been said in the notice that why any action is not taken against them for protesting in the principal’s office on June 9 and 10. They have been given three days to reply. Angered by not getting a promotion, Dr. Meena sat on a dharna in the college in protest.
The Delhi Teachers Association (DTA) has condemned the non-promotion. The Dean of Colleges was demanded to get the matter investigated at a higher level. On the other hand, taking cognizance of the matter, the college principal Dr. Praveen Garg has issued a show-cause notice to him.

In the notice, he has been told to forcibly demonstrate in the principal’s office from 1 p.m. of June 9 to 1 a.m. of June 10. During this, some outside friends were also involved with him. At the same time, there is talk of him tampering with the CCTV camera and deleting the recording from the DVR. Along with damaging the AC of the office, there is also an allegation of missing important files.
