The Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies (SSCBS) of the University of Delhi has concluded its first phase of the placement season 2020-21. According to the College placement reports, the highest package stood at Rs. 19.25 lakh per annum, whereas the average package stood at Rs. 9 lakh per annum.
Over 80 students from college obtained job offer primarily in the areas of analytics, investment banking, finance, and consulting. The largest recruiter of the placement season came out to be Bain Capability Network with over 20 offerings.
More than forty companies took part in the placement drive of Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies including Zomato, Deloitte, Dabur, and Mckinsey & Company. Some of the new companies who participated in the placement drive were Bridge to India, IHS Markit, and Quantics Management Consultancies.
This year, over four students from Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, qualified for the national top 15 in the EY Corporate Finance Woman of the Year Competition.

Furthermore, the SSCBS administered a project named ‘Prep for Success’ under the CARE programme which creates a link between graduates and final year students. With this CARE initiative, students are provided with resources pertaining to job interviews, and practice sessions for placement that are conducted with the batch.
