A DU notice was issued on Thursday, 20th May 2021 informing about the postponed exams. Hence, the final semester exams, i.e. the May – June annual exam 2021 will be now commenced from 7th June 2021. This notice is a continuation of DU Notice Reference No. / Dean/ 2021/ 529 dated 29th April 2021.

However, the exams were supposed to be held from 1st June 2021. So, they are now deferred for 7 days as per the new DU notice until further instructions. Therefore, the tentative date sheet released for the exams that were to begin from 15th May 2021 is now withdrawn. However, a new date sheet will be released soon. Students are advised to keep checking the official Delhi University website and download the date sheet once available. Also, the new guidelines for the May/ June annual exams 2021 will be issued by the varsity in due course of time.
DUTA DEMANDS ALTERNATE EVALUATION METHOD FOR EXAMS
Due to the ongoing covid-19 pandemic, DU teachers and students are constantly trying to defer final semester exams. They are even trying to raise their voice for the cancellation of exams due to such harsh times. Therefore, the Delhi University administration took this step and had deferred the exams twice already.

All Delhi University students are requested to not trust any fake notifications or news. Only the official website of the University of Delhi will be considered authentic for all purposes. All the new DU notice will be available on the website from time to time. Thus, students can visit the site www.du.ac.in for regular exam updates.
