DU released its second cutoff. After 100% cut-off in the initial list, the second list has not bought much of relaxation as cut-off at top college as well as for top courses was at 99.5% or above.
The cut-off lists are accessible at the official website, du.ac.in. Also, you can see the list at the respective colleges’ websites. Based on the second list, students can not only strive for admissions from Monday but those hoping to transfer from one college to another can also do that. After transfers, there might be some changes in the third cut-off which is anticipated next week.
Several colleges did not even disclose a second cut-off list for most desired courses. This year, psychology, political science, Economics have stayed the top picks so far.
Of the about 70,000 seats vacant in DU, admissions for almost 35,000 students had already been filled in the initial list itself. For the remaining half, at least five cut-off lists are expected to be released. In case seats are still available, special cut-off can be released, as per statutes.
