As the University of Delhi released the third cutoff list for DU admission 2020 on Saturday, there were still seats left in various courses in popular DU colleges. The decline in cutoff is however between just 0.25 and 2 percent. Unlike every year, there are still seats available in various courses at Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), Lady Shri Ram College for Women (LSR), Shri Venkateswara College, and Miranda House college of Delhi University.

At Lady Shri Ram College for Women, the cutoff is around 99% for Phycology (Hons), Political Science(Hons), and Journalism (Hons) courses. Similarly at Shri Ram College of Commerce, seats in B.Com (Hons) and Economics (Hons) are still vacant for admission with 98.12 and 98.75% cutoff. While at Delhi University’s Kamala Nehru College and Hansraj College, seats in B.Com (Hons) are no more available.

Out of the Delhi University’s 45 colleges which offers political science(Hons) courses, admission in 28 colleges is closed. Political Science (Hons) course is however still available at top colleges like Lady Shri Ram College for Women, Indraprastha College for women, and Ramjas College. However, admission for History (Hons) courses are closed in several Delhi University colleges. Out of the total 43 Delhi University colleges which offer History (Hons) course, 30 colleges have closed the admissions in the third cutoff list. History (Hons) course is however still available at Ramjas, Miranda, and LSR. As per the reports, over 52,000 students have taken admission in Delhi University in the second cutoff list against the available 70,000 seats in over 61 colleges of Delhi University.

DU 3rd CUTOFF RELEASE AND UPDATES || CHECK DETAILS

Due to the withdrawal of admissions, a few colleges have also reopened their admissions to particular courses. PGDAV college has reopened admission for Economic (Hons) while Sri Venkateswara Colleges has helped the admission for Chemistry and B.Com (Hons) courses. This time the off-campus colleges of Delhi University have got their seats filled rapidly. At Delhi University’s Dayal Singh College, admissions for most of the UG courses are closed for the unreserved category. Furthermore, Kamala Nehru College has also closed the admissions for the general category for most of the courses.

Among science stream courses, seats in physics courses are filled in various DU colleges. The decline in cutoff percent in these courses is between 0.33% to 1%.

DU admission 2020 under the third cutoff list will begin from 26th October to 28th October. The fourth admission list for DU admission will be released on 31st October. Click here to check the third cutoff list for DU admission 2020.
