Delhi University published a notice in reference to the Provision of scribes for the visually impaired students of Undergraduate and Post Graduate Courses appearing for the Open Book Examination.

(OBE)is supposed to be held from 10th July 2020 for the academic session 2019-20
in the light of the decision of the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi on 17 July 2020.

In abidance of the decision of the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi dated 17.06.2020, the
following points may be noted in addition to the earlier notifications issued on 04.06.2020
and 22.06.2020 regarding the provision of scribes, study material/reference texts and
assistive devices for the Visually Impaired Students appearing for the Open Book
Examination (OBE) scheduled to be held from 10th July 2020 onwards as per the
date sheets.

1. The colleges and the departments of the University have already been issued guidelines for providing scribes to the visually impaired students to enable them to take the OBE. For the purpose, the students can send their requests to the respective colleges/departments.

2. Further, such students can also send their request for scribes to the
Dean (Examinations) at dean_exam@du.ac.in

3. The students who are availing the ICT infrastructure facility at the Common Service
Centers (CSCs) should contact their respective CSC center for availing the facility of scribes for a particular session of examination. The CSCs have already been briefed to take care of the requests of the students in such cases.

4. In order to identify the physical location of any CSC closest, the students can download an app and the like for the same is available below:
