As all the cases of coronavirus cannot come to an end all of a sudden and it is important to continue further, it is important to reopen educational institutions. But, safety comes first. So, social distancing needs to be strictly followed by everyone.

Some universities and institutions are conducting exams for final year students in the month of July. Some universities have promoted first and second-year students on the basis of their internal assessment of the current semester and result of the previous semester. Final year students will have their exams in the month of July. If the future conditions are quite safe to reopen schools and other educational institutions, the Human Resource Minister has decided to reopen schools and other educational institutions after 15 August.

EXAMS ARE LEFT TO BE CONDUCTED FOR CLASS 10TH AND 12TH STUDENTS
The nation was under lockdown for a few days. Therefore there are some exams remaining to be conducted for class 10th and 12th students. OPTIONS FOR CLASS 10TH AND 12TH STUDENTS FOR CISCE
The Council of Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) has made it optional for the students to write an exam. They have come along with an alternative for the students. Either students can get their results made on the basis of internal assessment and pre-board scores or they can appear for remaining exams. Now, the final decision lies with the students whether they want to give their remaining board exams or they want to finalize their result on the basis of internal assessment and pre-board marks. This option is applicable only for the remaining exams. The result of the subjects for which exams are already conducted will be calculated on the basis of performance in the exam only.

Some students went to some other state or district due to lockdown. So the HRD Ministry has said that those students can opt to take class 10th and 12th exam there itself. This decision is taken because students have to travel a long-distance journey and there are some quarantine measures that the school has to maintain.

SCHEDULE OF CISCE FOR EXAMS
ICSE exams for class 10th students will take place from July 2 to July 12. Students of class 12th of ISC board will have their exam from July 1 to July 14. There are many guidelines released by CISCE to be followed by the students to appear for respective exams. For Class 12th students of ISC Board, 8 exams are remaining to be conducted. For Class 10th students of ICSE Board, 6 exams are remaining to be conducted. Results for the same would be announced within a period of 6 to 8 weeks.
