The Supreme Court will hear the petition for class 12th board exams tomorrow, which is on 31st May 2021. The Central Board of secondary education, CBSE, and Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination, CISCE conducts class 12th board exams.

Last year, some of the exams of the CBSE board were canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. This year also the board has not yet decided whether it will cancel the exams or conduct it on a later date. Advocate Mamta Sharma held the petition of class 12th exams.

The bench of justice the Dinesh Maheshwari and AM Khanwilkar solved the copy of the same on 20th May and postponed the hearing to 31st May. On the other hand, a Kerala teacher also held a petition in the Supreme Court that was in favor of conducting board exams.

CBSE WOULD MAKE AN ANNOUNCEMENT ON 1ST JUNE

The bench of justice said that they should be optimistic towards all the decisions and problems. They should leave the solutions for Monday itself. One of the benches of justice said that CBSE would take any decision regarding board exams. The board will announce it on 1st June.

However, both the CBSE and CISCE board are confused to make decisions. They’re mulling over canceling the exam or conducting the exams of short durations for just main subjects in August.

However, some state boards are in favor of conducting short-duration exams in August. It is not a situation to conduct offline exams. So, the Supreme Court would take the decisions for board exams tomorrow and students would be notified soon.
