On Tuesday, The teaser of Pa Ranjith’s upcoming Tamil boxing-based drama Sarpatta Parambarai was disclosed. The story of two families fighting inside a boxing ring for glory is gearing up for its world premiere on Amazon Prime on July 22.
The trailer gives us a brief look into the boxing society in Madras during the 1990s. The visuals disclose to us that the British showed us the sport and it was gotten by two families in North Madras. In the end, one family ruled over the other and it is up to the Sarpatta family to battle for their legacy.
Arya, who is shown as a boxer in the movie, comes to be the only person from the Sarpatta family to battle and protect their legacy alive.
Ranjith in his tweet said Sarpatta Parambarai will be a very realistic story. The movie is related to the boxing society of the 1990s in North Madras.
