Sadguru Jaggi Vasudev of Isha Foundation has launched a missed call campaign to press the demand to free Tamil Nadu Temples from the control of the government.

On the occasion of Mahashivratri during the celebrations at Coimbatore, Sadhguru launched the campaign. To support the cause, people from all over the world can give a missed call on 8300083000.

A week after Sadguru wrote open letters to Tamil Nadu chief minister E Palaniswami as well as opposition leader MK Stalin, he has launched this missed call campaign.

He emphasized that temples should be managed by devotees while adding that the ancient temples of millennial antiquity were being vandalized and cannibalized for stones that were broken and were being used for other buildings or sold as artifacts. The way in which the temples were being treated was painful and heartrending. He added that when control of temples was seized by the East India Company, the administration of the temples was done through the board of revenue. He urged the people to participate in the missed call campaign and before the upcoming Tamil Nadu elections, he pressed this demand of his.

By holding placards, people who gathered to celebrate Mahashivratri at the venue showed their support in order to save the soul of Tamil culture and #FreeTNTemples from this state.
