Several Delhi University students have taken their disappointment to social media platforms like Twitter. Also, many students have complained about the disruption in education caused by pandemic-induced online classes. The University of Delhi is closed ever since March 2020. Hence, it has been more than a year since students are sitting at their homes and attending online classes.
DU administration on #reopenDU
The administration explains that they will have an executive council meeting today, i.e. 31st August 2021. But, they also clarified that they won’t be opening on September 1 like other Delhi colleges. Thus, Vikas Gupta, the registrar cleared that they will reopen for the science students at first. Hence, a phased reopening of DU will undergo.
A Statement of Procedure (SOP) was also released by the Delhi government on Monday. Hence, it said that all the necessary protocols need to be followed.
