DU FOURTH CUT-OFF LIST

Reopen DU is trending on Twitter as Delhi University students are constantly pleading the authorities to reopen colleges. Hence, despite the flattening covid-19 graph, Delhi University colleges are still closed. Also, the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) has already waved a green flag for reopening schools, colleges, and other educational institutions.

Several organizations protest to reopen DU:

Several students organizations are constantly protesting and demanding to reopen DU. Also, members of the All India Students Association (AISA) went to an extent of sitting on a hunger strike. Thus, they sat on a strike for 5 days straight outside the arts faculty building. Also, AISA received full support from almost all the students across DU. But, no administrative official came to meet them or listen to their demand. AISA constantly questioned the University officials about DU reopening.

Also, on Friday, 29th October 2021, ABVP organized a protest outside the executive committee’s place.  Hence, the Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) is constantly trying to voice its opinions on DU reopening. The ABVP unit along with some college students submitted memorandums to college principals urging them to support them on DU reopening.

Reopen DU: Students protect to get good quality education

The party stated that their demand is clear, i.e., to reopen DU immediately. Also, they demand online classes for all the students who have taken online classes and even vaccination of students. Sidharth Yadav, the Delhi State Secretary said that it is the right of every student to get good quality education. Hence, quality education is only possible when the college campuses reopen and physical classes restart. So, the protest will continue until DU finally reopens.
