UN INTERNSHIP : The United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD) has invited applications from recent graduates. UN has invited these applications for its 3-6 month long online internships in the field of communications.

15 July 2021 is the last date to apply for this UN Internship. The interns assist in the management of online communications products and activities. And they will work under the direct supervision of the public information associate. Interns will be given the work of research, producing, and scheduling social media content for UNCCD social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
The interns will also get a chance to enhance the online presence of UNCCD. This will get to conceptualize and develop infographics and other visuals for the convention’s digital platforms. Fluency in written and spoken English is required for this internship. Candidates knowing other official UN languages (Arabic, Chinese, Spanish, or Russian) will have an edge over other applications.
UNCCD based in Bonn, Germany has invited applications but the nature of this UN Internship will be remote. Candidates can work from their home country.
For a minimum of three and a maximum of six months, this UN Internship can either full time or part-time, starting as soon as possible.

Applicants need to be enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree program (minimum bachelor’s level or equivalent) in public relations, marketing, journalism, or mass communications, or similar or have graduated with a university degree. If selected, the candidate must commence the internship within a period of one year.
