Can dropouts  apply for admission in University of Delhi?

Every year thousands of students are surrounded by the rumors that the droppers cannot apply for the DUET .

So, such news are fake because each and every student who is a dropper can apply in University of Delhi by issuing a fresh character certificate by the school he has passed from.

How to calculate your percentage for the cutoff?

Every course has a different criteria to calculate your percentage that would be considered as your cutoff percentage..

If you are a science student then only percentage of your best 3 subjects that is physics, chemistry and Maths or bio will be considered in most of the colleges.

If you belongs to a commerce background then best four of your subjects will be considered.

Note (On the basis of the criteria of 2019)

  • Change in stream shall deduct your 2.5 percent . For example you completed your 12 from PCM with 94% and you wants an admission in b.com or B.A. then the final percentage will be considered after deducting 2.5% from 94% that is your new percentage will be 91.5%.
  • For taking Admission in b.com(H) it is necessary to have studied mathematics in class 12.However it is not necessary to include your mathematics marks in calculating your best four percentage.
  • If you include physical education in your best four subjects there is a deduction of 2.5%.
