On Thursday, a mobile app was launched by the Defense Minister Rajnath Singh to help in the online training of NCC cadets in the country.

The Ministry of Defense said in an announcement, In perspective on the limitations imposed by COVID-19, preparing of NCC (National Cadet Corps) cadets have been influenced antagonistically as it is generally contact-based training.

As the schools and universities are not prone to open soon, it was felt that preparation for NCC cadets ought to be bestowed using the advanced medium, it acknowledged.

The statement included, The app targets giving NCC cadets all preparation materials, including schedule, preparing recordings, and every now and again posed inquiries, on one platform called “DGNCC”.

The application has been formulated intuitively by encompassing an inquiry option. By utilizing this option, a student can present doubts related to the preparation prospectus, and a similar will be replied by a committee of qualified teachers, it said.

During the event, Defence Secretary Ajay Kumar, RAJNATH SINGH, Director General NCC Lieutenant General Rajeev Chopra, and other senior civil and military officials of the ministry were available on the event.

In view of COVID-19 this DGNCC app would be helpful to NCC cadets in digital learning and withstanding the problems presented due to restrictions on direct physical interactions in this pandemic, After the launch, RAJNATH SINGH said on Twitter.
