On Tuesday, honorable PM Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh University. Moreover, CM Yogi visited on Monday to supervise the preparations.

PM Modi will lay the foundation stone of the new university in Aligarh. The state government named the university in honor of freedom fighter Raja Mahendra Singh. He was a great social reformer and educationist. In addition, he was an alumnus of AMU.

Moreover, political historian professor Shah Mohammad said, “Mahendra Pratap Singh is a notable freedom fighter of India, and his commitment to making secular democratic India labels him as great and bravest of his time.” He added, “He deserves respect and honor for his commitment and achievement.”

CA FINAL AND FOUNDATION RESULT 2021 IS OUT NOW

The Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh University will affiliate with all the colleges in the Aligarh district. Moreover, this university will establish in Lodha Village and Musepur Kareem jarouli village of Aligarh’s Kol tehsil on 92 acres of land.

Along with a visit to the state university, PM Modi also plans to heed Uttar Pradesh’s exhibition model of the Defence Industrial Corridor.

During the inauguration of Lucknow’s Investors Summit, February 2018, PM announced the Defence Industrial Corridor’s establishment in UP. Moreover, it has planned to have 6 nodes under Defence Industrial Corridor. It includes Aligarh, Agra, Chitrakoot, Kanpur, Jhansi, and Lucknow.

The process of land allocation at the Aligarh node is almost complete. Also, the land has been allotted to a total of 19 firms for a Rs 1,245 crore investment. Moreover, the Defence Industrial Corridor aims to make  India self-reliant in the sphere of defense.
