Twenty Delhi University (DU) subjects have been featured in QS World University Ranking by Subject 2021. Also, several other Indian institutions like IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, and more have attained a rank. Therefore, a total of 12 Indian educational institutions were featured. They secured their positions in the top 100 list.
However, Delhi University (DU) has topped the list amongst all Indian institutions. Hence, it secured the 208th position in the QS World University Ranking.
The Delhi University (DU) has procured 2nd position amidst the Indian Institutions in the field of Arts and Humanities, and Life Sciences and Medicines. Hence, in the subject, arts, and humanities the position was 252nd. However, in Life Sciences and Medicine, the rank was between 401 to 450. Also, in the category of Natural Sciences, DU’s rank is 7.
Modern Languages and Philosophy secured positions in between 151 to 200. Also, these subjects fall under the domain of arts and humanities. The subjects, History and English language and literature fell under the ranking 151 to 200 as per the QS Ranking 2021. However, it is the 2nd position among Indian Institutions. The subject Linguistics occupied the 1st position among Indian Institutions and 151 to 200 globally.
Agriculture and Forestry attain 2nd position in India, getting a rank in between 201 and 250. Biological Sciences is ranked between 251 to 300 and medicines between 351 and 400. Hence, Indian Medicines secured the 4th position in India.
Ramesh Pokhriyal, the education minister congratulated all the institutions on 4th March 2021. Several IITs are in the top 100 engineering institutions list. However, MIT, USA has maintained its 1st position.
