NAWANSHAHR PUNJAB SCHOOL: said here on Tuesday that a government school in Nawanshahr in Punjab shut down after 14 students and three teachers there covid-19 tested positive.

They further notified that the sample of other teachers as well as students comprising those from the primary section, are being collected by the Health Department.

According to him, Government High School in Saloh has more than 350 students all students have to be tested and quarantined so that we can stop the chain of spreading virus.

Health officer Maninder Singh said samples of 60 students of punjab school were seized on Monday, 14 of which tested positive for the covid-19. Which is the matter of concern.

That is why students will be taught online by teachers and hence schools will remain closed for some time. Students are advised to stay calm and take all the precautions. District Education Officer (DEO) Jagjit Singh said.
