The Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) is preparing for the board exams of 2022. The board is going to conduct the exam twice a year for the coming session. CBSE has consulted schools to make a List of candidates (LoC) who will appear in both classes 10th and 12th.

The board instructed schools to prepare for 9th, 11th registration

CBSE, in an official notification, directed the respective schools to prepare a list of candidates for next year’s class 10th and class 12th board examinations to ensure proper submission of LOCs and registration of students within the prescribed schedule. CBSE will soon launch the registration portal as well as the LOC submission. The board has also requested the schools to make necessary arrangements for the registration of class 9th and class 11th.

Term 1 examination will be performed in November-December

Keeping in mind the uncertainties brought by the COVID-19 pandemic, the board has decided to evaluate the students of class 10th and class 12th based on their performance in the two-term examinations as well as unit tests and periodic tests. Each term will have questions from 50% of the total syllabus, which means, half of the syllabus. The first-term board exams will be conducted between November-December 2021, with a window duration of 4-8 weeks, while the second term will be conducted around March-April 2022.

CBSE RELEASED THE TERM-WISE SYLLABUS OF CLASS 9-12

Exams are going to be held from August 25

Meanwhile, CBSE will conduct the offline compartment or improvement exam for class 12th from August 25. The first paper will be of English core on August 25. The improvement exam will end on September 15. The examinations will be conducted in a single shift from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. This year, CBSE had canceled class 10th and 12th board exams and used alternative schemes for the evaluation of students.
