All the affiliated colleges under the Delhi University will kickstart their postgraduate admissions. The University will permit the admission procedure from November, 18th.
Admission to all the courses including the ones based on entrance plus the combined entrance and merit basis will commence from the designated date.
The applicants will be granted a provisional admit for entrance-based admissions. As a result of final year students is not yet declared in many colleges.
The officials released a notification for the postgraduate admissions. The applicants are advised to upload their final year mark sheet (if declared) on their dashboard. The last date to do the same is November 16th, 2020. The varsity was informed through an official notice.
The students are requested to go through the eligibility criteria to gain more clarity. The candidate who scored a higher percentage in the qualifying exam will be preferred over the other ones. It is applicable in case of a tie.

Further, if the tie continues, then the bachelor’s degree will be compared. The one with a higher percentage in their bachelors will be preferred over the ones with a lower percentage. Moreover, in case the tie persists then the percentage of the preceding year will be compared, and so on.
The official notice released a notice for the students whose result of the qualifying examination is not yet declared. If the result of students on the tie isn’t declared then the admission will be kept on hold on that seat.

However, the candidates need to note down the last date announced by the university to submit their final year mark sheet and other documents. It must be noted that the ones who have done their qualifying examination from the Delhi University will have the option to get admission on a merit basis.
The merit list of the qualified students for post-graduate admissions is released for round 1, 2, and 3. The dates for the same are November 18, November 25, and December 2, 2020. All the students need to verify the documents from November 18 to 20. Moreover, the payment can be done by November 23rd, 2020.
