A petition has been filed in the Supreme Court regarding the examination of NEET-UG 2021. The petition has sought cancellation of the examination. Along with this, there has been an allegation of paper leak and malpractice in the NEET-UG 2021 examination. The NEET-UG exam was conducted on 12 September 2021 across the country.
It is worth noting that many candidates who appeared in the NEET UG exam have moved to the apex court seeking fresh conduct of the exam. Along with this, till the disposal of the precivilizationetition, a direction has been sought to stay the declaration of the result of NEET-UG 2021.
What are the demands made in the petition
Citing fraud, malpractice, placement of fake candidates, and leaking of examination papers, the petition sought to conduct the examination afresh. The petition has sought directions from the Ministry of Education, National Medical Commission, and National Testing Agency to enhance the standard of security protocols such as biometric verification of candidates, use of jammers, etc. to examine fairly and transparently.
It also directed the CBI and the Director Generals of Police of Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh to submit a report within a week before the apex court with all relevant information and documents as well as findings regarding alleged misconduct in NEET-UG. Has sought.

What was the whole matter?
It has been said in the petition that even if students are benefitted illegally, it will be a gross injustice. 8 people were arrested by Rajasthan Police on the day of the NEET entrance exam on September 12, in which a girl who came for the NEET exam was caught along with 7 others who were helping her in copying.

The police had arrested the 18-year-old girl along with the inspector in charge of the administrative unit of the examination center and the girl’s uncle and four others in the case.
