DU admission branch has organized a webinar to solve the queries and problems regarding PG admissions for the session 2020-21.

On Tuesday, the University of Delhi has started a webinar, streamed on the Facebook page of the DU Admission Branch.  Students asked their questions in the comment section, replied by the professors and DU authorities.

Due to the pandemic situation, the process for postgraduate admissions is completely online. And the students encountered many questions regarding this new method.

Dr. Suman Kumar, a member of the DU Admission branch initiated the webinar. Dr. Shobha Bagai, with Rajeev Gupta Dean of Students’ Welfare, explained in detail, the admission procedure. Also, they asked students to visit the official website of DU for the latest update.

“The fees will be submitted to the respective colleges’ but the classes will be conducted in either north or south campus” informed Shobha Bagai.

According to the official notice, the admissions for pg courses will commence on 18 November 2020.

For entrance based courses, DU will give provisional admission even if the results are not out. Whereas, for merit-based courses, students ought to pass the qualifying exam.

  • First cut off list – 18 Nov to 20 Nov
  • Last date for payment (1st cutoff) – 23 Nov
  • Second Cut off list- 25 Nov to 27 Nov
  • Last date for payment (2nd cut off) – 30 Nov
  • Third Cut off list – 2 Dec to 4 Dec 2020
  • Last date for payment – 7 Dec 2020
