Fees reduction

All the educational institutions are not in physical operation for more than a year. Students are studying through online classes. So, parents are demanding a 50 percent fee reduction in schools.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, many employees have lost their jobs, many businessmen faced a huge loss in their revenue. Many families have come to such an extent that they are struggling to manage their household expenses.

Many organizations have been formed that represent parents. All of them have step forward to consider the fee reduction as a serious issue.

RTE REIMBURSEMENT ALONG WITH FEE REDUCTION

Mohammad Shahid Sharif is one of the education activists. He said the state government has reduced the RTE reimbursements by half. According to him, the government took this step because schools are not bearing much expense as of now. So, parents are also demanding that schools should reduce at least 50 percent fees.

SCHOOLS FORCING TO BUY BOOKS FROM THE CAMPUS

Sandeep Agarwal, another activist said that the government is serving the interest of the management committee. On the other hand, they are forcing parents to buy books from campus.

PARENTS PROTEST FOR FEE REDUCTION

Parents are protesting for the fee reduction by wearing black attire. Moreover, they are conveying their message through banners with school names on them. The education activist said that many norms are set up by the parents-teachers association.

Schools are not following those norms due to which they are increasing the fee. Government should have a look at this matter. Schools must conduct functions like a charitable organizations. All the education activists would continue their protest so that parents get some relief.
