After the pandemic, a new strain of coronavirus have emerged in the United Kingdom. Due to this, taking a side of precaution, the Maharashtra CM has declared a night curfew in the state. All the municipal areas would be under curfew from 11 pm to 6 am from Tuesday night. It will remain in effect till 5th January.

Uddhav Thackeray is the Chief Minister of Maharashtra. He said that he was not in the favour of another lockdown or curfew. But, COVID-19 is still affecting a lot of people and the situation is not completely in control.

MAHARASHTRA CM HAD A MEETING WITH OFFICIALS

Maharashtra CM had a meeting with the senior state government officials and police officers. After the meeting, he announced that he would impose the night curfew in the state. So, all the shops, barring essential services will remain closed after 11 pm.

ALL THE PASSENGERS WILL BE QUARANTINED FOR 14 DAYS

The passengers who would come from Europe and the Middle East would be institutional quarantined. All the fliers after landing at the airport will be quarantined for 14 days.

MAHARASHTRA CM RELEASED A STATEMENT THROUGH CMO

Maharashtra CM said that due to a new strain of coronavirus, they have taken this decision to put these precautions in place. They will be more vigilant for the next 14 days. He released a statement through the CMO.

ALLAHABAD HIGH COURT ORDERS SCHOOLS TO STRICTLY FOLLOW COVID GUIDELINES

IT IS COMPULSORY TO WEAR MASKS FOR ATLEAST 6 MONTHS

Maharashtra CM said that everyone must wear masks for at least 6 months even if the vaccine of Coronavirus is available. He urged people to take proper precautions while celebrating Christmas and New Year. Everybody has to maintain social distancing in any large gathering like weddings.
