The Open Book Examination(OBE) of the semester of Delhi University is almost over and the preparation of checking the answer sheet is now ready. DU’s examination branch says that examination centers will be set up in colleges and the January-February evaluation process will be in process soon.
It is expected that the results will start coming from February. The branch says that this time there has been no problem with the online open-book examination(OBE).
It is said that this time the examination has gone smooth. Initially, we got 1200 more sheets by email, then thousand, but later on every day 25-30 answer sheets were received from every college. We gave the students a good amount of time to upload the answer sheet.
In case of a technical problem, one hour extra was given and if after 5 hours, upload remains then the option of sending emails with screenshots was given. Most students have uploaded the answer sheet. This will help in getting the result out as soon as possible.
The examination paper was uploaded on the DU portal itself. Very few replies were sent by email, says the branch. But gradually the numbers have reduced, so in August-September, the final email was much more. On the first day, about 3800, on the second day, the result was less than the results of the year students.
The DU exam started on 12 December and is the last exam on 1 January. Dean DS Rawat, also the examiner, says that now the centralized evolution process will be put in place. Subject wise examination centers will also be built in every college. This process will run in January-February.
Hopefully, the results will start coming from February. DU has received fewer answer sheets this time through email, which will only help in online development.
