Delhi University begins the open book exam, OBE from today, I.e. on 15th March for undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Exams were conducted in both online and offline mode.
However, many students faced problems while uploading answer sheets on the OBE portal of Delhi University. Many students faced technical issues. So, they got an extra hour after 3+1 hour criteria to submit their answer sheets.
Delhi University passed an official statement in which it stated that if students faced issues even after an additional hour to upload their answer sheet, they got an alternative to mail their answer sheets to the Nodal Officers. The overall duration of the OBE was four hours.
WHAT IS THE USE OF ADDITIONAL 60 MINUTES IN OBE?
Three hours were for answering questions and one hour was given to upload the answer sheets. If students fail to upload their answer sheets, they could use the additional 60 minutes.
SUBMIT THE OBE ANSWER SHEETS TO NODAL OFFICERS
Delhi University in its official notice stated that if a student fails to upload the answer sheets within the specified period, he or she can submit the sheets via mail to the Nodal Officers only.
CRITERIA OF 3+1+1 DURATION IN OBE
Moreover, they have to attach the portal submission failed snapshots during the special time of 3+1+1 hours. They have to submit the answer sheets through mail-in 10 minutes after the 3+1+1 hour time limit is over.
STUDENTS MUST JUSTIFY THEMSELVES FOR MAILING THE ANSWER SHEETS
The varsity in its OBE notice also said that students have to prove that they faced problems while uploading the answer sheets on the OBE portal with justifiable reasons.
STUDENTS MAY FACE DELAY IN OBE RESULT
The answer sheets that students would mail to the Nodal Officer of the college or department of faculty or NCWEB center must be mentioned with course name, paper code, and roll number. Students who will submit the answer scripts through mail can face some delay in their result declaration.
