After the decision of the Central Government to cancel the 12th board examinations, there is doubt among the students about the date of the entrance exams. In the meeting chaired by Home Minister Rajnath Singh last week, other entrance exams like NTA NEET, JEE Main 2021 were also considered, including board exams.
The decision has been taken by the government only on the board examinations but no information has been given on the date of NTA exams.
Explain that the government has cited the corona epidemic as the reason behind the cancellation of the board exam. The government has recognized that the third wave of corona can be dangerous for children, so conducting examinations can increase the risk of an epidemic.
In such a situation, it is not possible that the NTA NEET, JEE Main examinations should be conducted at the exam centers. The education department has given priority to the health of the students, which means that the entrance exams will also be postponed.
Before the meeting of the Prime Minister, Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank was about to decide on the examinations on June 1, but due to sudden deteriorating health, he was admitted to AIIMS. Only the Education Minister can decide on the remaining sessions of the NTA JEE Main 2021 exam. It is possible that after fully recovering, he may consider postponed examinations.
The February and March sessions of NTA JEE Main 2021 are over and the April and May sessions are postponed due to the pandemic. NTA NEET 2021 exam is scheduled to be held on 01st August this year for which application forms have not been released yet.
Till the application forms are not released, students will remain skeptical about the exam. Looking at the present circumstances, it seems that the wait of the students is going to increase further.
