On 5th July 2020, the National Students Union of India (NSUI) upload an official, notice against ABVP. NSUI claims that Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) is not active against student’s issues in Delhi university.
In the official, notice NSUI claims that the deadly coronavirus has exposed the student community in Delhi university to administration draconian measures. Amidst all the ruckus created by the administration, elected representative of ABVP has been silent, whereas NSUI elected representatives and volunteers have been at the forefront of fighting against online classes, online examination, and open book examination, etc.
“@ABVP Delhi see this.
He is just secretary and NSUI has only 1 post still they tried
And you claim to be the biggest Student Organisation and have 3 seats in DUSU still silent!!
I regret being a part of ABVP
@Proud_Hindu_16~ twitter user and a student of ABVP.
ABVP’S silence on students issue has now been taken to twitter by their own volunteer disowning the organization a graffiti was scenes on the DUSU office saying “not my union”. proactive measures have certainly given NSUI am upper hand. Indian politics has constantly ignored the student community for ages, its trough relentless struggles that the student attained their rights and express their power.
NSUI further added that now ABVP has betrayed the students. only the student organization that stands for student rights and manages to bring a concrete solution to students’ concerns will be given value through their votes by the student community.
