The North Campus Examination Branch of Delhi University will remain closed for two days on April 19 and April 20 in view of the rapid increase in coronavirus cases. Delhi University’s North Campus Examination Branch will reopen on Thursday, April 22 since April 21 is a gazetted holiday, said a university statement issued in this regard.
It read that, in view of the surge in the coronavirus cases in the North Campus Examination Branch, it will remain closed on Monday and Tuesday.
Delhi university issued a set of guidelines on April 12, Monday, in the wake of the rising number of coronavirus cases in Delhi. The University, in its notice, said that the classes for the postgraduate and undergraduate students will continue only in the online mode in all the colleges. The research scholars have permission to continue with their academic work along with the consent of their supervisors.
As per the Delhi University COVID guidelines, the final-year students will be allowed in small batches to visit their respective departments/colleges/centers for practical/laboratory/ library/skill-related activities which are under the Ministry of Home Affairs and University Grants Commission (UGC) guidelines.
