NO STUDENT WILL FAIL IN CLASS 10 BOARD THIS YEAR

A new rule has been announced by the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) for the students of class 10 board who will be appearing for board exams this year. As per this rule, a student will not have to repeat a year even if he/she fails in of the three elective subjects, i.e. Science, Mathematics, Social Science. The Skill subject, which is offered as a sixth subject will replace the other subject in the result in which the student has failed.

Then, on the basis of these five subjects, the percentage of class 10 board exams will be calculated. Education has been hampered a lot in this academic year due to the pandemic. Hence, CBSE made this new rule which has been welcomed by all students, parents, and teachers.

The government’s Skill India Scheme has also been kept in mind while ruling this scheme adn this has been initiated to boost the scheme. Students’ interest in the Skill-based Learning Program has been duly noticed and 20 percent of students had opted for skill-based subjects in the year 2020 whereas it rose to 30 percent in 2021.

This initiative has helped students in enhancing their skills and also helped students in scoring good who don’t have much interest in theoretical subjects.
