In the 2021 list, the NIRF Ranking of DU colleges are remarkable. Thus, out of the top 10 colleges ranked under the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), five are from Delhi University. These ranks were announced on 9th September 2021 by the Union Education Ministry. Also, Delhi University’s Miranda College has topped the list yet again.

NIRF ranking of DU Colleges in Top 10:

Miranda House has successfully secured the first position again. The college has been ranked as number 1 for five consecutive years, starting in 2017. Also, in 2021, Lady Shri Ram College for Women got the 2nd position. Thus, the NIRF rankings of DU colleges are incredibly good as both the 1st and 2nd ranked colleges are from it.

The other 3 DU colleges in the top 10 are St. Stephens College, Hindu College, and Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC). Hence, St. Stephens was ranked at the 8th position by the NIRF followed by Hindu and SRCC. Thus, the Hindu College and Shri Ram College of Commerce got the 9th and 10th positions respectively.

Drop in the NIRF ranking of DU College:

While Miranda and LSR have maintained their ranks, Hindu and St. Stephens witnessed dropping spots. Hence, they dropped by a few ranks. St. Stephens went from the 4th position in 2020 to the 8th in 2021. Also, Hindu went down from the 3rd rank in 2020 to 9th in 2021.

But, Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) went up from 12th to 10th. Also, Hans Raj College, Kirori Mal College, Sri Venkateswara College, and others are in the top 20. Thus, the NIRF ranking of DU colleges is good for some like Venkateswara and ARSD college. Hence, the DU VC congratulated the colleges in the top 10 and other rank-holding colleges as well.
