The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2021 ranking will release on 9 September. Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will release the list of top colleges, universities, and other educational institutions of the country at 12.30 pm. Like last year due to Coronavirus infection, this year also the ranking release program will be online.

Earlier, the Ministry of Education released the NIRF Ranking of 2020 on 11 June 2020. This time, due to the COVID-19 pandemic the release of ranking has been delayed. Last year, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras had secured the top position in the engineering category. At the same time, Bangalore, IISc, and Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi got first place in the ranking of universities.

What is NIRF ranking 2021?

The ranking of NIRF was started in 2015. Through this, educational quality is measured in universities, colleges, and other educational institutions across the country. Five parameters are included in the release of the NIRF ranking, which is as follows.

1 Teaching and Learning
2 Research and Professional Practice
3 Outreach and Inclusion
4 Perception
5 Graduation Outcome.

The ranking of NIRF is broadcasted in ten different categories. In which Engineering, Universities, Colleges, Architecture, Medical, Management, Law, Pharmacy, and Dental colleges are there.
