With the new Web Stories for WordPress plugin, Google has allowed creators to make and publish more compelling and more visually appealing stories. A drag-and-drop interface has been offered by the new version to make it easy for creators to get started.
The plugin includes comprehensive visual editing capabilities, image masking, a re-envisioned visual media gallery, saved colors, gradient editing, and styles and several design features for those who want to take full control of their stories, said Google in a blog post on Tuesday.
To make their extensive high-quality photo library just a click away, Google has collaborated with Unsplash, as well as Coverr. Fully designed templates are also available with the plugin. Google said that you can find tips and resources for creating a compelling Web Story on wp.stories.google.
The beta version of the plugin was introduced by the company earlier this year. After adding features and incorporating feedback, it is now available for everyone within the WordPress plugin directory.

Google informed us that they will be adding more templates, stock media features, and integrations in the near future. A familiar full-screen, tappable story format has been brought by Web Stories for WordPress, to the wide audience of the web. Web Stories for WordPress are open and contributions from the community are sought by Google whether directly to the code or requesting product features and enhancements.
