In addition to the existing plans, Widely used reliance JIO came up with a prepaid plan of Rs 2399 whereas Airtel resorts to budget-friendly plans like Rs 99, Rs 129, and Rs 199.
A new set of prepaid plans have been announced by telecom giant Reliance Jio and Airtel.
Whereas Airtel introduced a couple of budget prepaid plans, Jio came up with a yearly plan.
The yearly plan by Jio has been designed keeping in view of those customers who are currently working from home owing to the Lockdown due to COVID-19 spread.

⦁ The cheapest plan comes for Rs 99 with 1GB data,100 SMS, and unlimited calls (to any network ). The validity of this plan is 18 days. ZEE5, Airtel XStream, and Wynk Music subscription comes with this plan. This plan is available in selected areas including Bihar, Jharkhand, Orissa, Rajasthan, Kolkata, MP, Chattisgarh, UP East, and West Bengal.
⦁ This plan costs Rs 129 with a total of 1GB data, unlimited calls to any network, and 300 SMS. Validity is 24 days. Just like the previous plan, this plan also offers a free subscription to Zee5, Wynk Music, and Airtel XStream. The pack is available in selected areas including Assam, Bihar, Jharkhand, Gujarat, UP West, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Kerala, Kolkata, MP, Chattisgarh, Maharashtra and Goa, and West Bengal.
Similar to Reliance Jio, Airtel has launched a plan, at Rs 199 with similar benefits. This pack provides 1GB data per day, unlimited calls to all networks, and 100 SMSes per day. It also offers a free subscription to Zee5, Wynk Music and Airtel XStream.validity is of 24 days.
This pack won’t be available in every circle. It is only available in Assam, Bihar, Jharkhand, Gujarat, Haryana, Kerala, Kolkata, MP, Chattisgarh, Maharashtra, Goa, North East, Orissa, Rajasthan, UP East, UP West, Uttarakhand and West Bengal.
Reliance Jio prepaid plan: Specifications!
Jio now introduced yet another prepaid plan for Rs 2399. This plan comes with 2GB data per day, unlimited Jio-to-Jio voice calling, 12,000 FUP minutes of calling to other networks. It also provides 100 SMSs per day and has a validity of 336 days.
