On 14 May 2020, the University of Delhi issued a notice for Review and Revision of online classes. The notice commands that special sessions to be conducted for the students for three consecutive days starting from 15 May 2020.
The University of Delhi coordinates all the partners in the Departments and Colleges of the University of both undergrad and postgraduate level to direct modification meetings through online mode for three days to free questions from the understudies, explain their questionings, and so on. The University additionally expressed that the choice is taken to support understudies. These update meetings will be a follow up of the web-based instructing learning process led during the across the country lockdown period forced to contain the infectious disease COVID-19.
The 3 days of special reviews and revision sessions can be conducted in the form of different online classes, special webinars, and doubt clearing sessions. These sessions are to be conducted solely with the purpose to provide better comprehension, doubts clearance, resolve queries, and deliver conceptual clarity on specific topics of the subjects of the students.
The online webinars, online lectures, and doubt clearing sessions are to be conducted as a follow up of the online teaching and learning process conducted during the lockdown period. The sole objective behind the commencement of these sessions is to help the students clear their doubts and get a better and clear understanding of their subjects.
The notice further states that the internal assessments and other activities as per the notice of the Dean Examinations dated 13 may 2020 can be conducted after these three days of special reviews and revision sessions.
Requesting that all the staff members notify understudies about this unique facility by means of different methods of correspondences, the notification expresses, All the partners including the Deans of the Faculties, Heads of the Departments and the Principals of the Colleges are mentioned to give satisfactory exposure of this office being made to serve the understudies, through the site, messages and other feasible methods of online interchanges, to enhance previously directed web-based instructing learning nowadays. All the partners are solicited to assure the ideal use of this notification by the understudies.
The previous notice issued on 13 May 2020, was a letter given by the Dean of Examinations of the. It stated the insights about the direction of Internal Assessments, Practical, Viva-Voice, Projects, Internship, Fieldwork, and so forth for the year 2019-20 even semester’s assessment. As per the notice issued on 14 May 2020, the internal exams, practicals, and other project works will be conducted after the Special Review and Revision Sessions. The colleges can resume their internal assessment tests and practicals through online mode from 18 May 2020.
