Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’, the Union Education Minister will address the students and answer their queries relating to the new Education Policy on Thursday 1st October. Through this online address, Ramesh Pokhriyal aims to clarify the doubts of the students concerning the NEP 2020. The students from across the nation had earlier put up queries on the new education policy with the Education Minister on his Twitter account.
The live doubt clearing session will take place on the official Twitter account of union education minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ and the ministry of education’s official Facebook page. Students have been motivated to put up questions with a hashtag #NEPTransformingIndia on Twitter.
The education minister on his twitter handle tweeted that on October 1st he will be retorting all the questions and doubts about NEP 2020 that students had earlier come up with on his Twitter handle. At the end of the tweet, he mentioned to save the date I.e., 1st October, and feel free to spread the word.

Earlier in September, Shikshak Parv – a two-week duration program was conducted to address similar doubts and questions from teachers across the country on NEP 2020. Several doubts and suggestions on the NEP 2020 were addressed and shared. The Education Ministry as a part of Shikshak Parv conducted several conclaves, webinars, and award distribution processions to take the NEP 2020 ahead.
Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that by the year 2022 every student in India will be indulged into the NEP. He added that the students will no more be limited to the watertight boundaries of science, commerce, and arts and will be able to choose any subject they wish to choose. It will therefore bring the emphasis of scores and results-based education system to the leaning based education system.
The new NEP 2020 aims to bring changes in the conventional 34-year-old policy and brings the major changes in school and college level education system.
